HOW TO ACCESS THE PRINCES PARK SOUND WALK


1. Download the Echoes app from the App Store or Google Play onto your phone.

2.Use the search tool to find the walk titled Down Through The Clouds And Back Through Time Again, or scan the QR code on the rear of the map.

3. Make sure your GPS is enabled.

4. Head to the Princes Park main entrance gate (off Princes Avenue / Road), connect your headphones and start walking.

5. Audio will be triggered when you physically walk inside a blue geofenced area marked on the map by using GPS to determine your location.

6. Make sure to stay inside the blue geofenced area when a clip is playing, straying from these areas will end the audio and you will need to re-enter the same area which will restart the clip.

7. At the centre of the sound walk you'll find a crossroads of areas titled 'Remix'. This area is slightly different from the rest of the walk. The idea here is that you walk in between the layered geofenced areas, remixing the soundscape for yourself by changing your direction.

8. To bring up the speech transcriptions and audio descriptions for each sound piece, click on the blue geofenced area within the app.

9 You can stream the walk using your mobile data or download and save it offline for unreliable connectivity.
